Abstract

From the analysis of the methods used in the city of Bogota D.C., to carry out the maintenance of the road infrastructure by means of mobility actions, it was found that at present the method used is the conventional patching with hot asphalt mix and the method of pneumatic pressure injection with cold asphalt mix is not being used. Thus, it was further evaluated which of the two methods of pothole/gap repair should be implemented in greater proportion to meet the needs of road conservation in the city of Bogota, defining that the best tool to perform such an evaluation is through the design and structuring of a multicriteria decision matrix. By means of which it was specified that the pneumatic pressure injection patching method with cold asphalt is the most efficient as a mobility action for the city of Bogotá
