Abstract

The present paper discusses general aspects of standard penetration test (SPT), in terms of its imple- mentation description based on current specifications. Then the correlations, that can be used to obtain geotechnical parameters for granular soils, are shown. Finally an application example with these correla- tions for a particular drilling is shown with the essay respective recommendations and limitations.
