/ Context of the art of electric arc spray

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to review the retrospective of the technical of electric arc spray. It is the first step of a project that is focus on the optimization of this  technique. On the one hand, this paper focuses on identifying the characteristics, principles, parameters and influence factors in the process; and the other, to classify and analyze the characteristics and results of a set of papers performed which enables view the path followed thus far by researchers in this area, and propose future possibilities of this technique. Giving that, the quantity of variables that affect the process is important, this work proposes, in a continued job, to use optimization algorithms to improve the application of this technique.
