Abstract

"The Pearson system is a set of statistical models that allows the simulation of the trajectories’ behavior of missiles in the military field and also it induces to the missiles drastic 
changes during their movement in their 
travels, thereby avoiding the missiles could 
shot down. The purpose of this work was 
proposed by the following query: it is possible 
to apply the Pearson system to the modeling 
in civil engineering, specifically in the fields of 
hydrology, using the average monthly flows 
of the Fonce´s river -Santander? The results 
clearly evidence the behavior of the average 
monthly flows of the Fonce´s river are properly 
modeled by the criterion k Pearson, using the 
different types of Pearson System´s Curves.
