Abstract

"The paper talks about the geophysics applied to the identification of a geophysical anomaly, that´s to say the detection of subsurface features with non- invasive technique. Knowing that a geophysical anomaly refers to the response of different physical fields in the area of potential exploration interest or resource development. Anomalies result
from the discovery of a suitable geological
formation for industrial exploration and
mineral buildup in a likely supporting place
with copper mineralization. Finding the use
of geophysical techniques, to identify and
observe the geological distributions at different
depths, using some physical parameters such
as conductivity, which can be obtained through
some methods such as electrical resistivity
and induced polarization chargeability. The
purpose is to obtain images of the distribution
of electrical impedance of the ground from
measurements made from the surface,
centered on the location of mineral deeply.
The results allow to characterize the most
important, that are altered in areas that can be
found associated with porphyry copper sulfide
anomalous zones, according to the parameters
of resistivity and chargeability."
