/Analysis cartográfico multitemporal water coverage for interior wetlands in Bogota D. C in the period of 1996-2008.Case study: wetlands of Cordoba, Capellanía y and Santa Maria del Lago

Abstract

In this paper the characterization of the Chaplaincy, Cordoba and Santa Maria del Lago wetlands between 1976 and 2008 is presented, based on a multi-temporal analysis of the body of water loss of wetlands. We sought to determine by the existing digital mapping change in area (hectares and%) of the surface water wetlands. To present this methodological framework using a specialized software for mapping the Arc Gis 9,3® considered. The main periods and respective changes of greater significance for each of the evaluated wetlands are established, and existing official information is generated through a multitemporal cartographic base for each of wetlands and periods of study at a detailed scale for differentiating the changes.
