/Modeling the frecuency histogram of the annual water velocities of the Fonce River (San Gil, Santander) using the Pearson System

Abstract

The problem of this work was raised by the ques- tion: is it possible to apply the Pearson System to the modeling of the behavior of water velocities of the Fonce river (Santander)? The results obtained clearly demonstrate that the water velocity behaviors of the Fonce river are adequately modeled according to the Pearson criterion k, using the different types of curves of the Pearson System.
