Development of strategies for the saving of energy consumption in the university Libre headquarters Bosque Popular

Abstract

"Today planet Earth is in need of generating 
cultural and technological alternatives in society 
through the most representative problems, 
climate change and the energy crisis, residues 
due to dependence on non-renewable fossil fuels 
and increasing concentrations of greenhouse 
gases.
Given the above conditions, the University 
proposes as an educational entity with the 
rational use of the country’s energy resources 
and the generation of complementary energy 
alternatives in order to meet some institutional 
needs.
For this, a bibliographic review was carried 
out on similar projects, the current state of the 
university was analyzed by carrying out hygienic 
measurements of lighting, state of electrical 
installations and surveys of the educational 
community.
Therefore, with the data obtained, possible 
solutions were identified, identifying the scope, 
economic and technical feasibility according to the needs, thus generating two groups of 
strategies; in the first, alternative energies such 
as solar, solar, wind and biomass are enclosed 
and the other group is composed of relocation 
and structural changes, which are based on 
simulated scenarios demonstrating possible 
consumption reductions"
