Abstract

This document focuses on a documentary, by way of reflection, review to evaluate the applicability of the management system model of the recommended practice API 1160 especially in the treatment of data to be able to perform calculations of operational continuity such as remanent life (RL), corrosion rate (CR). Minimum required thickness (treq) and maximum operating pressure (MAWP, MOP or MAOP). On the other hand, a proposal for the treatment of these inspection data will be established to be able to perform the operational continuity calculations established by API 570, which in some cases differ from API 1160, which refers its calculations to ASME B31.4 or CFR, title 49 part 195
