For the building of concrete roof, the designer might use to thrust vaults, system based on consecutive arches supported on the orientation of less length and requires a lateral support capable of withstanding the vertical loads and the horizontal thrust; other alternative, for structural designers it is the implementation of the membranes, thin elements to flexion supported in the direction of greater length, using thicknesses from two to ten centimeters. Into 1945 and 1993, the engineer Guillermo González design different projects with this system. To date, many professionals do not know the behavior of RC membranes and they interpret these structures behave as thrust arches, which is the reason because it is necessary to synthesize their differences and the experiences in Colombia
