Basic estimation of physic vulnerability in urban infrastructures

The present research comes out from the development of a Master thesis [1], proposed by the author, framed in accordance with the Law 1523, in the process of information about the risk that aims to identify and characterize the physic vulnerability in the infrastructure due to mass movements, in addition to fuel the risk reduction process. The results will provide valuable information to propose geotechnical researches in the urban and expansion area, while contributing to the development and territorial planning of the sixth category municipalities. Where the local administrators could reduce time and resources to propose the adoption and the determination of the prospective or corrective intervention of the areas to propose to that determined, delimited and zoned infrastructure whose physical vulnerability has a high level, as well as strategies to reduce risks in the community.
