Abstract

This document shows the results of the simulation through the technique of molecular Brownian dynamic of the magnetic nanoparticles’ track present in the bloodstream, taking into account magnetic fields and random collisions with the formed elements that make up the blood. The blood vessel is considered as a cylindrical tube, with radial symmetry and constant laminar flow. The nanoparticle is injected through the bloodstream near to the target area throughout the vessel to be directed by external magnetic fields generated by permanent magnets, the lines of magnetic fields have an orientation perpendicular to the bloodstream. It is taken into account every force that is expected to affect significantly the nanoparticle transportation, as the magnetization, the pulling and the random force generated through the collisions of the nanoparticle.
