Abstract

In view of the occurrence of seismic events in the world, in recent years a series of standards have been established that, in protection of the community, have been increasingly rigorous in the basis of housing construction; This has led to the development of the degree work that deals with the characterization of the houses located on 41 C South and 41 D South Streets at 75 a Bis in the Timiza neighborhood compared to the Colombian Standard of Design and Construction Earthquake Resistant NSR-10 Title E allowing an evaluation applying the observation method to verify the state of the houses since there is no study of seismic vulnerability in the zone.
