Use of guadua Angustifolia Kunth fibers as reinforcement of the concrete

Abstract

In research work it is sought to determine the mechanical properties obtained in concrete reinforced with guadua fibers. For which a comparison will be made between different types of concrete such as: concrete without the addition of fibers, concrete with the addition of glass fibers and concrete with the addition of guadua fibers. The proportion of guadua fiber used corresponds to 1% with respect to the amount of the concrete mix. This dosage was based on the reference of the thesis behavior of concrete with the addition of hemp fibers in a proportion of 2%, [1], in which it is concluded that the dosage and dimension of natural fibers should be less than worked
