This research paper presents the modification of the prototype (Mitchell quadrant) for the design and elaboration of meshes; from the detonating cord blast accessory, whose explosive composition of said material is pentrite (PETN). The meshes made with pentrite explosive in the form of a detonating cord, are low-cost elements, easy to destroy, transport, and handle. On the other hand, the use of the detonating cord mesh (MCD) facilitates the mitigation of risks, among these, the projections caused by other explosives in the destruction of explosives devices (DE) and blasting accessories (BA). Finally, the article presents the elaboration and modification of a prototype (Mitchell quadrant), easy to use for the construction of meshes of different area with detonating cord; thus facilitating the use and its detonation for the destruction or neutralization in any place of (DE) containers and destruction of (BA).
