Abstract

In Colombia, the procurement method constitutes an important part in the process of national development. Unfortunately in the field of public work, Colombia does not have a suitable formation process yet. Public spending has become one of the mayor contributing factors that affects the national economy. The lack of adequate performance evaluation of contractors, suppliers, and consultants working for the state is a huge flaw in the current procurement system.
