Abstract

We will present the evaluation and comparison of the physical, mechanical, and economic characteristics relating to the use of conventional materials and the debris from the construction of road embankments. After the analysis of the information and the background of the construction of a road embankment and its debris in Bogota, we have concluded that the use of debris in the construction of road embankments is a technical, economical, and environmental feasible option.
