Abstract

This paper (Short Report), shows the parcial results about the investigation about assistance dogs for people victim of war in Colombia. It talks about the selection process of the ideal dogs and the high reliability to choose them as part of the functional unit which people in wheelchairs require. In order to facilitate their process to be included in a good quality and productive life again. This selection process frames some varibles such as, searching, identification, appliance of eliminatory and classifing tests, specially observation after the gradual exposition to stimuli that our environment, with little access, challenges exceptional dog's minds for this type of service.
