Abstract

The research function of the university has become more pressing in the field of higher education in Colombia, in the School of Military Engineers is directed to the generation of knowledge and the consolidation of the research culture. This article reviews the evolution of this important activity at the school, the level of impact in the context in which they develop research projects and the projection in the field of science, technology and innovation.
