Abstract

The present work presents a preliminary guide for the Colombian regulation for control of vibra- tions generated by blasts in urban areas and their influence on structures or houses near the sites where the explosions take place. Rocks or materials with Vp >2200 m/sec, becomes the use necessary of explosives for its fragmenta- tion, This produces environmental alterations like vibrations, noise and projections that to generate annoyances to people and possible damages to their buildings.
