Abstract

Colombian internal conflict brings human rights violations by rebel groups outside the law. Without a doubt the most harmful strategy, re- fers to the use of mines and Improvised Explo- sive Devices (IEDs). Colombia currently reports the highest numbers of new victims each year in the world, about two people are victims of these artifacts daily. This article proposes a strategy focused on reducing the number and percen- tage of fatalities from IEDsactivated by remote control. The proposed design of a scanning sys- tem and inhibition of RF signals, which are used in the controlled activation of explosive devices. In the description of the study identifies three stages, received signal conditioning, digital signal processing and transmission ofinhibitory signals. These stages are part of the format of the technique known as Jamming.
