Abstract

The sounding rockets are used to measure atmospheric variables as pressure, temperature and relative humidity; these data are required in airports and marine, agriculture and other activities that require predicting the weather. Currently Colombia the IDEAM (The Institute of Hydrology, Meteorology and Environmental Studies) is the organization responsible to obtaining this data using weather balloons. These weather balloons causes environmental pollution because these are not recoverable and reusable due to manufacturing materials. In the research was designed a sounding rocket to get this data to avoid environmental pollution and lower the cost to obtain this data.
